Linda Batchelor of Northampton, Massachusetts has exhibited her work both regionally and nationally. In September of 2010 she was awarded a merit prize by Joann Moser, Senior Curator of Prints at the Smithsonian American Museum of Art, Washington, D.C. She has been working with monotypes and collages for the last twelve years. This medium is well suited to her explorations in color and pattern and the emotional harmonies they create.
