Linda Batchelor of Northampton, Massachusetts has exhibited her work both regionally and nationally. Recently she was awarded a prize at the National Association of Women Artists "Small Works" show in NYC, and she was selected by Joann Moser, Senior Curator of Prints at the Smithsonian American Museum of Art, Washington D.C., to be part of the MGNE 20th Anniversary Traveling Portfolio. She has been working with monotypes and collages for the last ten years. This medium is well suited for her explorations in color and pattern and the emotional harmonies they create. |
